This role is based in Hamstreet, with the requirement to divide time between Tenterden and Hamstreet Garden Centres, providing support to both locations while overseeing warehouse stock management.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the EPoS Manager, you will ensure efficient stock control processes, including:
• Monitoring stock availability and movement.
• Identifying and reporting stock discrepancies and wastage.
• Assisting with audits and company-wide stocktakes.
• Maintaining accurate records, processing credits, and managing sales orders.
• Supporting goods in/out and assisting store colleagues.
• Implementing corrective actions where standards fall short.
• Ensuring effective communication across departments.
Skills & Experience
• Experience in stock control or inventory management (preferred).
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in stock systems and EPoS software (desirable).
