We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join our expert team part time at Living World, based at Tenterden Garden Centre.
Please note this role will include weekends and Bank Holiday shifts. You may be required to work within the main Garden Centre where necessary.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of livestock husbandry
- Excellent, proven communication skills
- A conscientious, flexible and confident attitude
- Drive and enthusiasm for retail sales with a desire to update product knowledge and skills where required
- Attention to detail
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To care for all livestock and maintain tanks, fixtures and fittings in accordance with Animal Licensing Regulations
- Offering relevant customer care and advice
- General shop duties including stock management, house–keeping and accurate completion of compliance documentation
- To maintain our high standards of customer service
