Peat Policy

As a business we are committed to improving the sustainability of our industry, as well as reducing our own environmental impact.

Two thirds of our compost range is now peat free and several of our growers have already removed or reduced peat in their growing media. 

Wherever you see our peat symbol in-store you can be sure the product is either free from, has reduced levels of or has been grown without the use of peat. 

As an industry we researching sustainable alternatives to peat whilst committing to its removal from sale by 2028.
