Plant Guarantee

All you need to do is provide proof of purchase and return the plant to us, and we will do the rest!


We guarantee all our hardy
plant stock for 5 years.

No matter which centre you are visiting: Tenterden Garden Centre, Canterbury Garden Centre, Folkestone or Hamstreet, you can buy your plants from us with confidence.

We guarantee all our hardy plant stock for 5 years. Hardy plants include Shrubs, Trees, Conifers & Roses.

Should any of these plants fail to establish, within 5 years, we will replace or issue a credit note should a suitable replacement not be available. All you need to do is provide proof of purchase and return the plant to us, and we will do the rest!

On occasion there may be conditions that invalidate our plant guarantee, for example:

  • Due to neglect e.g evidence of over or under watering
  • Physical damage beyond our control e.g. damage from strimmers or lawn mowers
  • Extreme natural phenomenon beyond our control, such as excessive heat or cold where the plants natural tolerance would not withstand this
  • Hardy plants that have been reduced prior to purchase
  • Hardy plants grown in containers or pots

You may have noticed things are looking a little different for Grovewell Aquatics at Tenterden Garden Centre. We have made the difficult decision to remove livestock from our store. This decision was not made lightly, and although the team have an excellent reputation, we were unable to keep Grovewell Aquatics as it was.

Our team remain part of the garden centre and will be on hand to answer any aquatics queries and will assist with the operation of the aquatics sundries department covering all your pond, water feature and pet needs.

Please note, Grovewell Aquatics at Canterbury Garden Centre will continue to stock tropical and cold-water fish.
