By setting ambitious targets and regularly benchmarking our progress, we strive to drive sustainable change.

We believe in cultivating strong relationships with our customers and local communities. By sharing our journey, challenges, and successes, we aim to inspire and empower others to adopt more sustainable practices at any level.

Our Progress

A few reasons to become a Grovewell Gold member:

Grovewell App

We have embraced digitalisation by launching the Grovewell App. This growing platform reduces paper use whilst providing a space for sharing knowledge and incentivising sustainable practices, building our positive impact.

Renewable Solar Energy

Our growing Hamstreet centre incorporates a 30kWh solar panel system, offsetting our energy consumption, integrating low carbon technology and aligning with our sustainability goals.

ESG Reporting

We published our first Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report, providing a transparent and accessible evaluation of our sustainability performance. This allows us to track progress and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Sustainability Champions

To drive environmental initiatives across all centres, we appointed Sustainability Champions at each location. This ensures a unified yet tailored approach, empowering our team to embed sustainable practices into daily operations.

Planet Mark Data Quality and Collection Award

Our Planet Mark certification recognises our commitment to precise data collection and sustainability benchmarking.

    You may have noticed things are looking a little different for Grovewell Aquatics at Tenterden Garden Centre. We have made the difficult decision to remove livestock from our store. This decision was not made lightly, and although the team have an excellent reputation, we were unable to keep Grovewell Aquatics as it was.

    Our team remain part of the garden centre and will be on hand to answer any aquatics queries and will assist with the operation of the aquatics sundries department covering all your pond, water feature and pet needs.

    Please note, Grovewell Aquatics at Canterbury Garden Centre will continue to stock tropical and cold-water fish.
